A large-scale blood donation camp was organized in Baikunthpur, Korea district, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day. The event, jointly organized by the Indian Red Cross Society and Koyla Mazdoor Sabha, witnessed enthusiastic participation from youths, employees, social workers, and local residents. Korea Collector Roktima Yadav inaugurated the camp by donating blood, inspiring many others to join the noble cause.

Massive Blood Donation Camp Held in Baikunthpur

A remarkable example of humanity and social responsibility was witnessed in Baikunthpur of Korea district on World Blood Donor Day. The Indian Red Cross Society, District Branch Korea, in collaboration with Koyla Mazdoor Sabha, Baikunthpur Area, organized a mega blood donation camp at SECL Gautam Sadan.

The camp received an overwhelming response, with a large number of youths, employees, social workers, and citizens voluntarily donating blood.

Collector Donates Blood to Inspire Citizens

Long queues of donors were seen from the morning, reflecting the enthusiasm among people for this life-saving initiative.

The event was formally inaugurated by Korea Collector Roktima Yadav, who personally donated blood. Her gesture inspired many participants and conveyed a strong message of social responsibility and community service.

Blood Donation is the Greatest Gift of Life

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Prashant Singh, Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), emphasized that blood donation is one of the most effective ways to save lives.

He noted that patients suffering from accidents, childbirth complications, thalassemia, and other serious illnesses regularly require blood, making voluntary blood donation extremely important.

Promoting Compassion and Social Responsibility

SECL Baikunthpur General Manager Naresh Prasad praised the blood donors and stated that such initiatives strengthen compassion, humanity, and social values within society.

He encouraged citizens to donate blood regularly and contribute to the well-being of those in need.

Donors Honored with Certificates

During the camp, blood donors were felicitated and awarded certificates in recognition of their contribution.
